Artist Statement and Bio
Harmonic frequencies, synapses, shamanic animals, symbolisms, quantum physics, are all topics of my artistic research. My photography goes hand in hand with my spiritual search, the path of personal growth and of development of consciousness started many years ago: I am a mystical photographer they say… I simply define myself as an esthete. spirituality in this dualistic world is materialized in nature and nature is an aesthetic experience, as opposed to ethics, morals, which are concepts of the mind. My photographs are a tribute to aesthetics, the search for beauty, perhaps in hidden details or in forms hidden from an indifferent eye.
Creating and taking photographs, it is my call, my talent that obliges me to respond, when I do it I feel alive, when I photograph I feel alive and every sensation of the passing of time vanishes. I live in that moment.
The highest goal of my project, of my idea, is as I said, to find and tell the beauty that others cannot see, the mysteries of the world and of life, as well as of people. help to perceive the hidden side of things, yet often that side is there at hand. This is why I prefer abstract photography and images that I define as "Zen photography", that is, when you create a minimalist image, clean of any distracting interference, to direct attention, focus, on a detail or on an isolated subject. it is also a way to reflect on other points of view, on the fact that there is not only one when we observe something; a concept that also applies to ideas… This is my dream
Born in 1971 in Genoa, I started taking pictures at the age of 17. At the beginning as a self-taught then following courses in advertising photography in Milan and London. After spending ten years traveling around the world and photographing for magazines, national and international newspapers (Qui Touring and Touring publisher for tourist guides and books, Dove, Editoriale Quadra, Itineraries Travel, Bell'Europa, Orobie, Gente Viaggi and others, such as the current affairs and women's weeklies Anna, IoDonna, Gioia, Grazia, Amica, 24 magazine of Il sole 24 ore for which she also creates fashion editorials) and creating tour operator catalogs, in 2001 I settle down in Friuli Venezia Giulia (East Italy) and opened a commercial photostudio, to creating advertising photographs and product photo for important companies such as DElonghi. Later, after moving my studio to Vilach in Austria, I also start working as a videomaker and finally I can devote myself to Fine Art photography. I take away some satisfaction with international recognition with several awards won, especially gold, silver and 3 bronze medals at the new york IPA Contest, Master color contest, Mifa, etc. . and numerous honorable mentions (more than 50 awards in total) and I am nominated master QEP portrait by the European federation of photographers.
